New to IT, with roots going back to 1933

Wson was founded in 1933 as a wine and spirits agency and operated in the beverage industry into the 2000s. Today, Wson works with Microsoft's AI platform. The industry is new, but the attitude is the same: long-term customer relationships, reliable delivery and business value above all.

Jocke Wilen, founder and consultant

Jocke himself spent more than 20 years in the wine and spirits industry, including as marketing manager and more than ten years as managing director. In 2019 he changed course and began studying computer science at Hive Helsinki, a coding school based on the French 42 model where you learn through projects and from each other, without teachers or lectures.

Since 2021 he has worked with Microsoft's cloud and AI platform: first in digital identity and then as a senior consultant in Azure, AI and Power Platform. He has built and managed AI solutions and governance models for banking and finance, public health and social care in Finland and Sweden, and retail and services, among others. The work ranges from RAG agents in production to isolated and monitored Azure environments.

It is an unusual combination: a technical consultant who has run companies and knows what it is like to sit on the other side of the table, where investments must be justified and technology must deliver results.

Jocke has been a Microsoft Certified Trainer since 2024 and works in Swedish, Finnish and English.
